As a congregation of the United Church of Christ, we’re rooted in a tradition of religious and intellectual freedom and a denomination committed to justice and human rights.  As an Open and Affirming Church, we are gay and straight, black and white, Asian and Latino, young and old, male and female. We celebrate the gifts of all for ministry and service. As an ally of the Center for Progressive Christianity, we value diverse understandings of Jesus and his message and express our faith in a wide variety of ways and projects. As a member of the Industrial Areas Foundation and COPA, Communities Organized for Relational Power in Action, we’re determined to act with others on the Central Coast for affordable housing, health care, safe neighborhoods, economic opportunity and immigrant justice.
