As progressive Christians, we are committed to pray for peace, live for justice and cherish the earth.  The Alternative Gift Market encourages us to put that faith into action by becoming more conscious consumers – re-thinking gift-giving and supporting vendors making a difference locally and globally.

Participating vendors support a sustainable economy in one or more of the following ways:

• Local Business
• Fair Trade Products
• Ecologically and environmentally business practices

In 2009 the market was held inside the FCC Fellowship hall at 900 High Street, Santa Cruz with ample parking available. Selected vendors are encouraged to attend all three days of the market and may retain all proceeds.  A one-time vendor fee of $55 will be charged which covers all three days. Non-profit organizations may be exempted (query required). Tables and chairs are available (see application for details on set-up and tables).
